We welcome new members.

Please read the constitution, which is under the About Us menu tab. From the constitution, the requirements for membership are defined in paragraph 2, and are reproduced here:

(1) A person is eligible to be a member of the association if:

(a) the person is a natural person, and

(b) the person has applied and has been approved for membership of the association in accordance with clause 4 of the association’s Constitution, and

(c) the person is either the owner of the nominated vessel or does not own a vessel at the time of application, but has previously arranged with the association to utilise the slipway for a pre-purchase inspection in accordance with clause 49 of the association’s constitution, and/or

(d) the person is a resident and/or a ratepayer of MidCoast Council, Great Lakes Region, and/or have their nominated vessel or vessels permanently moored within the boundaries of the Region, including the bays of North Arm Cove and the reach of the Karuah River between the Pacific Highway bridge and Correebah Island orShire and/or have their nominated vessel or vessels permanently moored within the boundaries of the Shire, or

(d) the person was a member of the association prior to 24 October 1988.

The joining process is easy.

  1. Make a print out of this form: Application for Membership Form 191030
  2. Fill out the form
  3. Mail or send the form along with your joining fee and first year’s membership fee as indicated to the Association Secretary at the addresses shown.
  4. To become a member requires approval of the executive committee. When your application has been approved a welcome email will be sent to you. [If your application is not approved, your initial payment will be refunded].
  5. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the registration process.
