While we welcome new members, persons who are unable to comply with the membership requirements as detailed below, may also able to utilise the slipway facilities.  Those persons should make those inquiries with the secretary.

The requirements for membership as defined in Part 2, Clause 3 in the Association’s Constitution are reproduced here for the applicant’s guidance:

(1) A person may be eligible to be a member of the association if:

(a) the person is a natural person, and

(b) the person has applied and has been approved for membership of the association in accordance with clause 4, and

(c) the person is either the owner of the nominated vessel or does not own a vessel at the time of application, but has previously arranged with the association to utilise the slipway for a pre-purchase inspection in accordance with clause 49 of the association’s constitution, and/or

(d) the person is a resident and/or a ratepayer of MidCoast Council, Great Lakes Region, and/or have their nominated vessel or vessels permanently moored within the boundaries of the Region, including the bays of North Arm Cove and the reach of the Karuah River between the Pacific Highway bridge and Correebah Island, or

(e) the person was a member of the association prior to 24 October 1988.

The joining process is easy.

Mail or email the form to memberships@teagardensslipway.com.au and EFT the joining and first year’s membership subscription fee as indicated on the form to the Association’s bank account.

To become a member requires approval of the management committee. If your application is been approved, a welcome email will be sent to you giving details to get setup on the Association’s website and how to access the on-line booking system.

If your application is not approved, your initial payment will be refunded.
